Serenity AI is a mobile application (iOS and Android) that provides:

β Voice sessions with AI for more natural, conversational support
β Crisis resources with information for emergency mental health support
What Serenity AI Is NOT
IMPORTANT: Serenity AI is NOT:- β A medical device or medical service

- β Designed to diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions
- β A crisis intervention service or emergency response system Serenity AI is a wellness tool. It does not replace professional care from licensed therapists, counselors, or psychiatrists.

- β You are responsible for monitoring their use of the app
- β You have the right to review, modify, or delete their data at any time

- Avatar selection (pre-defined options, not photos)
- Chat conversations with the AI (text messages your child sends and AI responses)
- Voice conversation transcripts (audio is processed for transcription but not permanently stored)
- Mood check-ins (daily mood level and energy level ratings)
- Wellness exercises completed (which exercises they've done)
- Session metadata (timestamps, duration of use)
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Approximate location (IP-based, for crisis resources only - we do NOT track precise location without explicit permission)

- β Contacts from their device
- β Photos or videos (except if they upload a profile picture)
- β Information from other apps on their device

- β Sell your child's personal information to advertisers or third parties

- Individual users cannot be identified
- Personal information is removed

No. Users ages 13-17 must have verifiable parental consent. If we discover a minor using the app without consent, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all data.
Is Serenity AI a replacement for therapy?
No. Serenity AI is a wellness tool, not professional therapy. If your child has mental health concerns, please consult a licensed therapist or counselor.
What happens if my child mentions suicide or self-harm?
Serenity AI includes crisis detection keywords that trigger resources and information. However, this is not a substitute for human intervention. If you suspect your child is in danger, seek immediate professional help.
Does Serenity AI share data with schools or other parents?
No. We do not share your child's data with schools, other parents, or third parties (except our trusted service providers). Only you (the consenting parent/guardian) can access your child's data.
Can other users see my child's information?
No. Serenity AI is not a social network. Conversations are private between your child and the AI. Other users cannot see or interact with your child.
